The person who recommended Christina does not have experience with the other therapists at the Counseling Awareness Center. A Covid-safe therapist is defined as one who offers Covid-safe services and who is known to be supportive of their clients taking Covid seriously and taking whatever precautions work for them to avoid Covid.
Robert Jeffries, owner of ‘My Dad Can Fix Anything LLC’ has been recommended as a Covid-safe provider of HVAC heating, cooling, and furnace repair services in Colorado. Here’s why My Dad Can Fix Anything has been recommended: “I am at extremely high risk for Covid, and so have been isolating for over 2 years (even if I got a mild case of Covid the long Covid could do me in). So when my furnace went out, and it was around 30°, I was really stressed.”
Miriam Thorp, MSW, LISW, LSCW, has been recommended as a Covid-safe provider of mental health therapy services in Los Alamos, New Mexico. Bridget Skyhawk, MSW, LICSW, of AMAR Wellness has been recommended as a Covid-safe provider of mental health therapy in Rochester, Minnesota. The individual who recommended Ms. Skyhawk as a Covid-safe therapist does not have experience with any of the other therapists at AMAR Wellness.
Jaime Devins, LCSW, LICSW, and her Artful Heart Therapy Services, has been recommended as a Covid-safe provider of mental health therapy services in both Maine and Massachusetts.
Patricia M. Wingenfeld, LCSW, MSSA, has been recommended as a Covid-safe provider of mental health therapy in Bradenton, Florida. Ms. Wingenfeld offers both online (telehealth) appointments, and, as of February of 2022, has also been offering in-person appointments “to fully vaccinated persons who have had no symptoms or exposures within 10 days.”
Julia Lopez with Insight Therapy Solutions has been recommended as a Covid-safe provider of mental health therapy services who is licensed in Nevada. While Insight Therapy provides services in many states, and many therapists work with them, the individual who recommended Ms. Lopez as a Covid-safe therapist only has experience with Ms. Lopez.
Karen Karafin, LCSW, has been recommended as a provider of Covid-safe mental health therapy services in Arlington, Virginia. Among other things she is skilled in EMDR, guided imagery, body-focused awareness therapy, and mindfulness techniques. She offers online video sessions as well as in-person appointments.
