Recommending a Provider Who is Not Yourself

Got a recommendation for someone or somewhere that you felt was being Covid-safe? Send it to us at the email address below. When recommending a provider please include as much information as you can about what you feel makes them a Covid-safe provider, and be sure to include a link to their website and their phone number where possible (we cannot publish email addresses). For Providers

If you are a provider of services who is going above and beyond the current norm in terms of making sure that your immunocompromised or otherwise Covid-cautious patients or clients are protected, please drop us an email describing the measures that you are taking, including an explanation of all of the various Covid-precautions you take. Be sure to include a link to your website and your phone number where possible (we cannot publish email addresses). Also let us know your Twitter account, if you have one, so we can tag you when we post your listing. We will use the content of your email (not your email address!) to create your listing. Recommend a Product that Helps Keep People Safe from Covid

To recommend a product as helping to keep people safe from Covid it must have a demonstrated record of efficacy substantiated by a neutral source (please include a link), it can’t just be something someone said works or that you figured out for yourself. IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ!
DON'T LET THEM TAKE TELEHEALTH COVERAGE AWAY!

At the start of the Covid pandemic, in 2020, the Federal government instituted many "regulatory flexibilities" to the provision of healthcare in the United States. including allowing for telehealth (telemedicine), and having telehealth covered by insurance, including Medicare and Medicaid. These regulatory flexibilities expire at the end of 2024!

This means that telehealth and telemedicine will not be available to people with Medicare or Medicaid, and may also not be available to you if you have private or employer-provided insurance.

The good news is that there are two laws up for consideration before Congress to make access to telehealth and telemedicine permanent - but as we have repeatedly seen in the past few years, we can't rely on Congress to do the right thing.

WE - all of us - need to write to our representatives and tell them to please pass the CONNECT for Health Act and the Telehealth Modernization Act! We need to create an email tsunami! So we have made it really easy to email all of your representatives at once!
