Recommending a Provider Who is Not Yourself
When recommending a provider please include as much information as you can about what you feel makes them a Covid-safe provider, and be sure to include a link to their website and their phone number (we cannot publish email addresses). We will use the content of your email (not your email address!) to create their listing.
Please write your submission email using the following as a template, customizing it for the name of the provider, the type of provider they are, the precautions they support, and generally why you recommend them:
Sample Submission
I want to recommend Dr. Jane Doe to be added to your Covid Safe Providers list.
She is a General Dentist in Downtown Seattle, WA.
She is a covid safe provider because:
She uses HEPA filters in every room
She wears PPE for Covid (Level 3 or N95 masks during aerosol producing procedures)
She uses “Pure Vac” suction during aerosol procedures like cleanings
Her office is a “boutique” style office, meaning she can dedicate her time per individual patient (1 patient per hour, especially upon request)
There is Covid screening at the door in the form of temperature check and questions regarding recent cold, flu, or vaccines, in the room at the beginning of appointments.
She and her staff always mask when asked, and they make me feel so welcome and safe. She has been so persistent and continued these precautions during the last 3 years of Covid! She’s a great dentist!

If you are a provider of services who is going above and beyond the current norm in terms of making sure that your immunocompromised or otherwise Covid-cautious patients or clients are protected, please drop us an email describing the measures that you are taking, including an explanation of all of the various Covid-precautions you take. Please follow the example of the below actual listing – your email will be copied to create your listing so please make sure that it is exactly as you want people to see it. Be sure to include a link to your website and your phone number (we cannot publish email addresses). Also let us know your Twitter account, if you have one, so we can tag you when we post your listing.
Sample Self-Recommended Provider Listing
Dr. Mei Firestone has submitted themself and their LMG Cancer and Infusion Center as a Covid-safe provider of hematology and oncology medicine and infusions in Reston and Leesburg, Virginia. In addition to Dr. Firestone, Dr. Syed Ali and Dr. Raj Manchandani also work at LMG Cancer and Infusion Center. Here’s what Dr. Firestone says about what makes them a Covid-safe provider of oncology and hematology medicine, and infusions, in Leesburg and Reston, VA.
Dr. Firestone says that they are a “hematology/oncology practice caring for many immunocompromised patients and as such understands the importance of protecting patients (and staff) from infection and strives to do so through a multilayered approach. All patients are required to mask (no cloth masks allowed, surgical masks offered at front for those without them). Staff is fully masked, with KN95+, and there are air purifiers throughout the office with the intention of ACH of 6.
