“When you get Repair on Wheels Mobile Mechanic you get the owner himself, Michael Lapp. Michael is so incredibly responsive that he answered my text on a Sunday! And when I explained that I needed to be extremely careful because of Covid, he not only got it, but he encouraged it! He reassured me that we could do all of our interacting through text and online payment, and that he completely understood the need to be so careful. I had my car out on my driveway for him, with the key on the front seat. He showed up and texted me that he was there, troubleshot what was going on (the check engine light was on, it turned out to be a loose wire), and fixed it, all while communicating by text (and for a bit when I talked to him from my 2nd-story window). And even though I was in my house, and he was out working on the car, he still wore a mask!
I should add that he is also very competent! He has owned his own dealership, and his own auto repair shop, before going to a mobile model due to his own feelings and concerns about Covid.
All in all he is a dream to work with, and I expect to use him for all of my auto mechanic needs. (He even will do an oil change at your house!) He’s also just a really nice guy! One of the few good things that Covid has brought has been discovering wonderful service providers like Michael.”

I had Michael come out to my house to figure out what was wrong with my car. I left the car on the driveway, with the key on the driver’s seat . Michael showed up masked, and stayed masked even though he knew we were never going to be in direct contact! (I stayed in my house, he stayed out at the car, we communicated by phone and text.) And with all that, he figured out it was a little wire that had come loose and charged me very little! He’s wonderful!
