Dr. Sara Go and her Orchard City Dental Care have been submitted as a Covid-safe dentist and provider of dental services in Campbell, California. Here’s what the person who submitted Dr. Go and Orchard City Dental Care has to say about why they submitted them as a Covid-safe dentist in Campbell.
“I’d like to recommend Orchard City Dental in Campbell, California. They have these safety measures all still in place and I confirmed 2023-08-14 that they have no plans to remove any of them.”
Those safety measures can be seen here, and include:
– Patients are prescreened for Covid-19 before entering the office
– Efforts to decrease traffic within the office
– Patients wash hands and rinse with peroxide solution
– Negative Air Isolation rooms in each operatory
Pulls air out of each opertory into medical grade HEPA filters
Facilitates 50 Air Changes per Hour (ACH), exceeding the CDC requirement of 12 ACH’s for a hospital isolation room
Rids the air of pathogens, preventing air from being recirculated and shared between patients and other rooms of the office– UVC Germicidal Lights in each operatory
These non-ozone producing lights kill 99.9% bacteria and viruses in the air and all exposed surfaces
Turned on for 10 minutes after the room is wiped and disinfected– Additional Personal Protective Equipment
– Air Purifiers with contain HEPA filters and UVC lights
– Merv 13 filters and UVC lights in HVAC ducts
– Hand sanitizing stations throughout the office
-We use Kulzer Ivory RELEAF HVE (high volume evacuation) during high AGP (aerosol generating procedures) when 4 handed dentistry is not available
The person who submitted Dr. Go goes on to say:
“Some of my experiences:
– fill out covid questionnaire beforehand and forehead temperature check right before appointment
– check in by phone and only enter reception area when approved
– all reception staff in surgical masks; most hygienists (and the dentist) use respirators like n95 or kn95 (make sure to request a hygienist who uses a higher level mask, because at least one only uses surgical)
– individual filtered rooms sanitized between uses with UVC
It has been exceptionally distressing to have to fight for my personal safety at a number of healthcare providers, and I thank my lucky stars that my dentist since 2018 has been one of the good ones.”

I can confirm as of April 13th that they’re very COVID safe! You can hear the filters working in both the lobby and private rooms. The front receptionists were NOT wearing N95s but surgical masks which was disappointing. They’re separated by plexiglass which concerned me considering the airborne transmission, but in the private rooms which have closed doors both the dental hygienist and Dr. Go were extremely professional, masked with clear N95s under surgicals, and incredibly kind and accommodating. I felt 1000% satisfied with my decision and confident in their quality of care and the measures put in place. Importantly, you would never need to take off your mask until getting to those private rooms. As I was leaving into the lobby, patients came in unmasked and were handed surgicals to wear which again startled me but I put my trust in my own mask and the Dr’s as well as the excellent filtration. This is as safe as it is likely to get in the area, above and beyond the average, and I felt very secure overall. Just be prepared if you’re anxious for those slight inconsistencies which are unfortunately the same in any medical setting now.
