“Dr. Prakash of Fresh Smile Seattle, on 12th Ave. in Capitol Hill, is keeping his masking policy for now. They have HEPAs in the waiting room and all the procedure rooms, plus the procedure air suction device that aims to filter particulates from the dental procedures. All the staff I saw there today were wearing KF94s or better, the dentist in an N95. Now, they aren’t perfect: the HEPAs have ionizers that are sometimes on, they aren’t always on high, they don’t always use the procedure air suction/filter devices. That said, they are better than many. The dentist noticed when his mask was slipping off his nose and pushed it back into place without prompting. And he offered to have visits on Saturdays when the office is normally closed if I become uncomfortable with his Covid mitigations. And yes, he’s a good dentist.”

My dentist did not require masks, so I switched to Fresh Smile and went for the first time today. There was a sign on the door requiring masks for entry and saying they also provided them. Everyone was wearing N95s and hepa filters in every room. 100% Covid safe dentist.
