They claim to have done all of these upgrades to prevent COVID spread but aren’t even requiring masks in the waiting room and I had to request an N95 because they are wearing crappy surgical masks. I was terrified to have my first in person appointment since we keep very safe and the woman doing the cleaning was rude to me. They don’t have doors in the private rooms which leaves you wide open to getting other unmasked patient’s air. Seems like safety theatre unless they start to take masks more seriously.
I went here in May of 2023. All staff wore surgical masks and I spotted one N95. I decided to try this office due to their renovations with HEPA and UV filters. I never saw another patient, didn’t even wait in a waiting room, and it was explained to me that their process doesn’t make patients interact or even pass one another. The dentist explained everything pretty thoroughly, the staff were very kind, and it went pretty quickly. The entire visit made me feel so relieved since I had much concern about being unmasked during my exam. Upon seeing this other review, it’s likely that I will not return but hopefully they bring back safer precautionary measures.
June 2023: HEPA filters and UV filters remain in place – dentists and hygienists were wearing surgical masks, receptionist+patients in waiting room were unmasked. They allowed me to wait in the car until my room was ready instead of in the waiting room. Were able to fill 3 of my cavities in an initial visit, minimizing amount of times I have to visit.
