The office itself is relatively new, built within the past decade, and equipped with large and small air filters placed strategically throughout the premises, including in the waiting area, reception desk, and individual rooms. Each individual room, while lacking doors and offering open access to the hallway, is also equipped with a smaller air filter.
Upon my request, they agreed to schedule an appointment early in the day, with both the dentist and hygienist wearing N95 masks, and ensuring that the air filter is operational during the visit. Additionally, I was able to bring in a small battery-operated air cleaner for my lap without any objections.
The clinic staff have acknowledged their willingness to go beyond the CDC’s requirements to accommodate patients’ needs. While not a perfect setup, it’s better than most alternatives.”
