Covid-Safe Concierge Physicians in Arcata and Fortuna California: Ikigai Physicians

Drs. Kate Estlin, Stephanie Dittmer, and Steven Aussenberg and their Ikigai primary care concierge practice have been recommended as a Covid-safe medical practice in Humboldt County, California. Here’s what the person who submitted Drs. Estlin and Dittmer (Fortuna) and Dr. Aussenberg (Arcata) as Covid-cautious says about why they submitted Ikigai Physicians:

“Concierge doctor’s offices in Arcata, CA and Fortuna, CA that according to receptionist still requires staff and patients to mask as of last week. Lowest subscription fee is $105/person/month. Accepting new patients. Will bill insurance for covered services.”

We pored over their site, and the only reference we could find to Covid was on their contact page, which says “Should you wish to visit our clinic we would recommend that you call ahead and make an appointment first as our facilities are closed to the general public without a scheduled appointment. Visitors should wear a mask and are preferred to be fully vaccinated for the safety of other patients and our staff during the COVID-19 global pandemic.”

In the submission it sounds as if the person submitting them actually called, and that along with what is on their site suggests that they are indeed Covid-safe (and the office being closed unless you have prescheduled appointment is encouraging). It would still be good to ask when you call to make an appointment.
