“My dentist, Dr. Laurie Novinsky (Foster City, CA), is doing great on Covid mitigations, I most recently saw her in April 2023.
They only see one patient in the office at a time.
They have several large air purifiers running throughout the office.
When I went in the dentist, hygienist, and one other staff person were wearing N95 masks properly and the receptionist was wearing a surgical mask.
I brought my Aranet4 C02 monitor and the reading never got above 600 ppm.”

Called them on August 13th, 2025 and while there was a slight language barrier (and a bad cell signal on my end) they said they are pretty much “back to normal”.
The receptionist got confused when I asked what kind of masks they wear, seemingly because they thought KN95s and surgical masks were the same thing (which means they likely only wear surgical). They also said they had air filters and when I asked for more detail they replied they were the “normal kind”. They also mentioned that if I was worried about this sort of stuff “this probably isn’t the best place for you”.
