Dr. Kian Karimi and his Rejuva Medical Aesthetics have been recommended as a Covid-safe provider of medical aesthetics procedures and plastic surgery in Los Angeles, California. Here’s what the person who submitted Dr. Karimi and Rejuva Medical Aesthetics as a Covid-safe provider of medical aesthetics and plastic surgery in Los Angeles has to say about them.
“For people looking for a safe environment to get Botox, fillers or other aesthetic procedures, Rejuva Medical Aesthetics in Los Angeles offers a Covid-safe environment. When you request a “masked appointment”, all staff including front desk, assistant and practitioner will wear a KN95 or N95 mask, run HEPA filters in the treatment room, and even sanitize your clipboard and pen before giving them to you. The office manager took my payment in the treatment room so I wouldn’t have to spend time in the common area to pay. The whole staff was very considerate and went out of their way to make me feel safe and comfortable.
My Aranet CO2 monitor read 500ppm upon entry into the exam room (I was the first patient of the morning), and stayed around 640ppm during treatment with three people in the room, so their HVAC seems to be working great!
Not all practitioners here offer Covid-safe procedures, so be sure to ask for Sharon or other practitioners who will accommodate strict Covid precautions. Normally, they will offer the first appointment of the day.”

Further update September 2024:
I’m sad to report that Dr. Kian Karimi /Rejuva Medical Aesthetics is no longer taking Covid precautions for patients. They stopped wearing N95/KN95 respirators last year, choosing black surgical masks instead. However, as of late, they’ve been sloppy about wearing surgical masks in the treatment rooms, even when it was requested at the time of booking.
Furthermore, the office coordinator who was very good about taking care of Covid cautious patients, has left the company and the person filling her position now doesn’t offer the same accommodations, like taking your payment in the treatment room so you don’t have to stand in the reception area where there are dozens of other patients and office staff at any given time. The CO2 level in the main reception is always in the 900+ range. Also, upon check-in, you’re no longer taken to the treatment room to wait, away from others.
It was disappointing to discover that last places where Covid precautions were being followed are now disappearing. I thought this community should be aware of this update.
So a little update for 2024:
First, the office staff no longer mask, and the practitioners no longer wear KN95/N95s. Upon request, they will wear a surgical mask during your treatment.
They’re still great about taking you directly to a treatment room where the HEPA filter is running, and anyone entering the room wears a surgical mask.
They accommodate by taking care of the payment in the treatment room so that you don’t have to spend time in the waiting area, where people are unmasked.
Lauren is an another excellent practitioner who is very accommodating about masking. Her upbeat attitude about Covid precautions made me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend her!
