Covid-Safe Provider of Acupuncture in Los Angeles, California: Poke Studio

Contact us prior to your appointment if:

You have experienced any symptoms associated with Covid-19 which can include having a fever exceeding 100.4F, dry or productive cough, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, and shortness of breath.

Or if you have been exposed to anyone who has tested positive for the virus in the 14 days before your appointment.

Reducing circulation of people in the studio:

There will only be one practitioner working at the time of your appointment.

For this to work, please do not be late. If you happen to arrive much earlier than your scheduled time, please wait in your car so that you do not overlap with a patient who is leaving. We do not want people waiting together or using the restroom one after another.

Please do not bring guests.

Each treatment room has its own HEPA air filter:

As we are treating fewer patients, rooms will have at least an hour between patients for the filter to run and to be disinfected.

Social distancing is impossible for the nature of the work that we do, but it feels prudent to us that we limit the amount of time that we share space in the treatment room. Accordingly, intakes and consultations will be shorter although length of time that needles are in remains the same.

When you arrive:

All care providers and patients must wear masks the entire time they are in the studio. This includes during treatments.

Please enter wearing your mask. If you do not have one, text us and we will provide one for you.

Upon entering, your practitioner will take your temperature with a touchless thermometer.

Please immediately wash your hands for 20 seconds with soap under running water. Use paper towels to open the door knob after hand-washing. There are alcohol-based hand sanitizing stations throughout the office and in each treatment room. All high-touch surfaces like doorknobs and faucets are cleaned before opening the office, between patients, every two hours with Covid-19 killing disinfectants, and at the end of each day. As always, practitioners wash their hands between patients and use at least 70% alcohol based sanitizer while in the rooms with patients after touching anything before the patient is touched.

All practitioners are tested for Covid-19 regularly and if any of us tests positive, the office will be closed, all patients who have been in 14 days prior will be notified, and the practitioner will self quarantine for 14 days before re-opening.
