He was still masked not long after the mask mandates were removed in healthcare in California. When I thanked him for wearing a mask, he responded with “you’re welcome and thank you for wearing yours.” I asked if he just wore it because I requested it and he said he wore it all the time and didn’t have any plans to remove it, and he hoped that all my providers did the same. A very kind, welcoming, patient, good with children and experienced provider. He’s a provider within Kaiser Permanente, a major HMO.”
