Using a mobile veterinarian has been recommended as a Covid-safe way to have your dog, cat, or other pet seen by a veterinarian. The person recommending it says “We have been using a mobile veterinarian since just after Covid hit, and it is a godsend! They have a complete mobile exam room that they bring to you, including ultrasound and x-rays. You bring your pet out to them outside, hand them off, they bring your pet into the mobile exam room, and text you when they are done. Our own mobile veterinarian is very respectful of clients who are at high risk.”
There doesn’t seem to be any national association of mobile veterinarians, however we Googled the term “mobile veterinarian” for several locations around the U.S. and in Canada and there were always a lot of choices for each location.
