Dr. Vincent Prestipino and Dr. Tassos Sfondouris at PDG Dentistry have been recommended as a Covid-safe provider of general dentistry services as well as periodontal, prosthetic, and dental implant services, in Bethesda, Maryland. Here’s what the person who submitted Drs. Prestipino and Sfondouris had to say about why they recommended PDG Dentistry as a Covid-safe dentist in Bethesda.
“PDGDentistry in Bethesda, MD has decided to continue Covid-safe protocols as of at least June 22, 2023. This is even after medical and dental practices in the area have been released from Covid-safety requirements. Their protocols include universal masking, N95-level masks on everyone who gets near the patient’s face, mouth swish, and portable air filters in every room/area. If you decide to call them, please mention my name because I promised to spread the word about their safety.
Roselie”

Just spoke with this office. They do NOT require N95 masks. One dentist wears an N95 – sometimes. The rest do not, and none of the other staff wear any form of mask at all. They have two small air purifiers. In other words, this is not a covid-safe dental practice, so should be removed from this list.
Hello, Liza. Thank you for the update! We do not take listings down, rather we leave it up including the follow-up comments so that people can see everything for themselves. That is why every listing has this warning at the top: “Do your own due diligence and be sure to read any comments at the bottom of the page which contain updated information such as if the provider has since dropped Covid precautions.” We do this because while we may take a listing down here, it may have been copied or scraped or pointed to elsewhere on the Internet, and then the follow-ups such as yours would not be seen, and people would think that this provider still has all of their precautions in place.
