RETRACTED Since this provider was first recommended they have relaxed their Covid precautions. We have been advised by the original recommender that on 1/31/23 they were “informed that patients are not required to wear masks and the staff are not either. Dentists and hygienists are now only wearing a mask when in the treatment room. Something about CDC guidance saying dentists can decide for themselves. Which means all their exhaled aerosol is all through the office. UGH. Doctors should know better. They do have HEPA filters in each treatment room but if the whole place is full of aerosol, it doesn’t feel safe. Their front desk person also said they don’t test unless they have symptoms. Guess they forgot that 40-50% of cases are asymptomatic.”

All the dentists and hygienists are wearing N95 or KN95 masks, there is an air purifier in every room and they have an appliance which draws away aerosols during a dental cleaning. I was just there today and the office was as usual spotless. Like not even a speck of dust.
