Lighthouse Complex Care has been recommended as a Covid-safe medical provider in Aurora, Colorado. They also have a Wilmington, Delaware location, and offer telehealth complex care in 14 states.
Lighthouse explains that complex medical care means “helping families navigate the medical comorbidities of multiple complex disorders including autism spectrum disorder, connective tissue disorders, genetic issues, mitochondrial dysfunction, and more. We begin by gathering and analyzing each patient’s medical history. Additional comprehensive testing is done as needed to fill in the gaps. This gives us the information we need to systematically identify and treat complex constellations of symptoms.”
Lighthouse Complex Care is currently doing only telehealth appointments, and they will re-open for in-person appointments effective in the fall of 2023. The reason that they have been been recommended as a Covid-safe provider is 1) the telehealth, and 2) when they re-open in the fall of 2023 the site will have the following Covid precautions in place:
– Wait in your car
– Single family waiting rooms with NAAT testing for all patients
– Air filtration in every space
– Enhanced ventilation keeping CO2 levels below 600
– Far 222nm UV fixtures in pre-test common areas and bathroom.
– Tri-weekly staff testing
– N95 or better mask required for both staff and patients
– UV-C disinfection of exam rooms in between patients.
